Description of the fat freezing (cryolipolysis) process

The advanced cryolipolysis technology is based on the fact that fat cells are less resistant to cold than the surrounding tissues, allowing subcutaneous fat tissue to decrease without damaging the surrounding tissues.

Through targeted cooling, fat cells undergo apoptosis (cell death). Apoptosis generates local inflammation, which stimulates the natural breakdown of fat cells, a process that continues for months after the treatment, reducing the thickness of the fat layer.

Fat cells permanently damaged by cryolipolysis are naturally eliminated from the body through its detoxification system, yielding visible results. Changes can be observed as early as 2-3 weeks after the first treatment, with the final results expected to be seen within 2-4 months. Following a series of 4 treatments, a volume reduction of 5-20 centimeters can be experienced depending on individual body composition. Since the dead fat cells exit through the lymphatic system, for faster and more efficient results, we recommend the use of lymphatic massage as a complementary treatment.

What happens during a fat freezing treatment?

• Before we start the treatment, a protective membrane is placed on the surface of the skin to protect its upper layer from the cold.
• The suction effect of the vacuum of the applicator head sucks the excess fat from the area to be treated into the inner part of the applicator head.
• The cryolipolysis machine is able to cool fat through the skin in a precise, controlled and safe way. Studies have shown that fat cells in the area of fat freezing are permanently destroyed at temperatures between -2 and +2°C, depending on their composition. The amount of surface fat can be reduced by up to 80% with a single fat freezing treatment.
• The controlled cooling time and temperature are adjusted to cause efficient and selective destruction of fat cells without damaging other tissues.
• The process of excretion and elimination of dead fat cells takes 3-4 weeks after the treatment. During this period it is very important to drink plenty of fluids and stimulate lymphatic circulation through exercise or lymphatic massage with our lymphatic machines.
• The treatment time is 50-60 minutes, during which the guest comfortably rests.
• The treated area is slightly red and swollen after the treatment, which disappears after a few hours.
